“West Coast” is the first track on The Neighbourhood’s 2013 EP The Love Collection, which was released after they dropped their debut album I Love You. as a thank you to their fans. The track takes on a catchy hip-hop beat with frequent transitions from rapping to singing. Although the band have always had hip-hop influence in their music, “West Coast” is arguably one of The Neighbourhood’s most hip-hop influenced songs.
